Parlance Corporation is a managed service provider for enterprise voice networks. Parlance uses proven speech recognition technology to enable callers to dial one number, say the name and get connected to anyone over existing voice networks. This “voice interface” gives callers the ability to navigate your enterprise's voice network, much like a browser helps you to navigate the internet.
Deep Technical Roots
Parlance began in 1996 as a spin off from the BBN Corporation speech development laboratory. Initial team members, drawn from the development and support team that designed and built recognition engines, were organized to develop a major application using the BBN HARK recognizer. Parlance’s vision was to develop applications for the telephony industry using speech recognition as the key differentiator. The initial application and our flagship product, the NameConnector®, provides a speech-enabled interface for voice network.

Long before managed services were fashionable, Parlance recognized that service was the most important element that we could offer. We invested a lot of time and resources to build the components and tools that create a real managed service infrastructure.
